Brooke began articling in 2005 at Carr Buchan & Company and continued to practice there for a year after being called to the bar. In 2007 she moved over to Windsor Law Group where she continued to practice in family law, criminal law and civil litigation for another three and a half years. She then moved on to Duncan & Faber where she spent five and a half years continuing to develop her skills, primarily in the area of family law. After a very successful beginning to her career and building a strong clientele, Brooke opened her own practice in the heart of downtown Victoria in July 2016.
As Brooke has participated in family law since 2005, she has a wide range of experience dealing with cases in both the Provincial and Supreme Court. She is dedicated to using her experience to help guide and support her clients through making tough decisions and finding results to allow her clients to move forward in a positive manner.
Brooke has experience assisting her clients to resolve their issues through court processes including trials, hearings, and case conferences, and also through dispute resolution processes including negotiation, mediation and arbitration. She has also dealt extensively with MCFD cases, having acted as parents' counsel on numerous files as well as for other family members seeking care of a child.
When Brooke isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, her golden retriever and her many long-time friends in the area. She enjoys travelling during the winter to warmer locations, and enjoys Vancouver Island in the summer, camping in her VW van.
